Did You Know?
Wildscape offers a broad selection of services. One of the specialties we have been providing for more than a decade is removing arundo (Arundo donax) or giant reed. Wildscape has been removing arundo from watersheds throughout Southern California for 14 years. Arundo is a tall perennial grass that resembles bamboo and forms dense stands. It uses up more water than native vegetation, does not provide habitat for native wildlife, and is highly flammable. This non-native invasive species is difficult to remove and requires constant treatment to control. Over the years, Wildscape has learned all there is to know about arundo. We use that knowledge to effectively and efficiently remove arundo using various chemical and physical treatment and methods.
