Calleguas Creek Watershed Arundo/Tamarisk Removal Program
Wildscape is assisting the Ventura County Watershed Protection District (VCRCD) with the development of the Calleguas Creek Watershed Arundo/Tamarisk Removal Program (CCARP).  The CCARP will provide guidance to Calleguas Creek Watershed stakeholders for the removal of non-native invasive plants within the watershed under the leadership of the VCRCD.  In particular, it will facilitate the removal of species such as arundo (Arundo donax) and tamarisk (Tamarix spp.) through the inception of a programmatic review and permitting process on a watershed-wide basis.

As part of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance process for the CCARP, an Initial Study with a final determination to produce an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was developed by Wildscape on behalf of the VCRCD.

A copy of the Initial Study can be obtained here.
A copy of the Notice of Preparation for the EIR can be obtained here.
